I bought a couple of ceramic pots (outdoor). They're seconds, so the glaze is pretty badly done on both of them. I don't mind too much since they'll have flowers in them, but I'm wondering if there's something you can paint a glazed ceramic pot with to give it a nicer finish. The pots will need to remain outdoors in the elements. Got any ideas?

My wife sprays her pots with some kind of sealer she got at Home Depot, Walmart, or somewhere like that. It is a clear coat, no color or anything, but it does give a nice satiny sheen. If you want to use paint, I would think about any kind of quality exterior grade spray paint would do.

Any of the rustoleums should work, but as Allen mentioned I would also use the clear coat. Rustoleum makes it also and it works great. As Allen said, it gives a nice satin finish, and protects the paint.
