And happy first day of summer. I hope you all get to use it to putter around in the sunshine on the longest day of the year!

Happy Summer! Here in NW Ohio it is dreary today. Rainy and in the 70's. We have had a couple hot days in the 90's with bad humidity, a couple storms blowing thru, but nothing bad. I can not believe that June is almost over. Our summer weather got a very late start here. Our garden is in and doing very well. It is amazing what rain does to a garden/flowers verses using tap water.
Things here are very quiet. I dropped Ashley off at Detroit airport on May 10, and she spent a month in Texas and is now in Hamburg, Germany, with her host family from 3 years ago. She leaves for Salzburg, Austria the first week of July. Life is very lonely with out her here.
I hope all are enjoying sunshine and warm weather. After this past winter....I would love to be out of Dodge before next winter, but that is not happening. Ugg, Need to get buy and get my projects done. Happy Summer everyone.

Hi shabby and Mac - it's been warm and humid with some rain here and boy does the rain make the grass grow fast! Seems that when hubby mows the yard it needs it again in a few days. Mac I know what you mean about the rain. We got a late start on the warm weather too. It seemed like winter would never end but of course it did and now it's gonna get hot. I don't mind the heat so much it's the humidity that I can't stand. Our town is having the 4th of July fireworks this weekend and no doubt it will be hot and muggy - the usual. Mac I'm with you - I can't believe it's almost July!
