I was on vacation this week and visited a winery (of course) that carries these really nice lamps. They're made of fossilized leaves, dyed and, I assume, decoupaged or something. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. I bought a hanging lamp in various colors, and it's just perfect in my place. I love it. I'm attaching a couple of pictures. My ipad wont' show the colors when the lamp is lit and you're across the room, so I took a close-up, and then I took a picture that shows you the reflection of the colors in the window. I went to Sequim, which is out on our peninsula, and stayed in a lovely cottage on a bay. We sat at the dining room table and looked out on the water every morning. It was an awesome little cottage, very homey and old-fashioned but with enough modern amenities (like wi-fi) to allow me to keep in touch with people. I could have lived there. Here's a link: linkI want to go back in the summer, but they're pretty much booked solid. A very popular place! Shabbychick Attachments:

Very nice cottage. Looks very relaxing. The lamp is so cool - I haven't seen one like it before!
