Mother's Day morning. Both my sons with their wives and babies! Both boys had sons- one born in July, the other in January. I still get teared up when I think about how things could have been different.... Just several years ago, my oldest son (the one of the left) took a short dive off our dock at our waterfront home. He broke his neck in 3 places, long recovery, but he's almost made a 100 percent recovery. Each and everyday is a blessing...hug those little ones each and every day. Attachments:

Beautiful photo. Your story gave me chills. I broke my neck when I was 3 yrs old by falling off the top bunk bed. My mom said I always moved from bed to bed. I am glad I don't remember it at all. But my neck tells me different as it bothers me at times.
I hope your son continues to improve and do well. The angels were definately watching over him that day. Cute little guys.

Marie- That's scary-huh? They say children really bounce- but they don't "really". Looks like the angels were watching out for you too. OMGosh you were only three---it's probably better you don't remember.
My son really is about 100 percent now- it could have been different- one wrong thing- of this or that. He was "boarded" in the water- if we had moved him at all before the EMT arrived most likely he wouldn't have made it, etc...
AND you know I was always one to think, "Oh that ony happens to other people." Not so- by any means. Life can change in less than a second.
