We finally got both dresser and chest of drawers home from mother in laws. It is the old 1950's (?) blonde style sets. I had to clean well and then wanted to line the drawers with the drawer liners. I went to Dollar General to purchase. That stuff was $2.75 for 5 foot. I would need at least 3 rolls to do the job. I ended up buying a pretty vinyl tablecloth and cut the shape out of the drawers and lined it with that. Worked our perfectly for only $4. I have found that vinyl tablecloths work for a lot of little projects.

What a great idea to use the tablecloth instead of the drawer liner, Marie! It was a perfect solution. You can go head to head with Martha Stewart any day!!

Wal-Mart usually clearances those out at the end of the summer. There is always a fun gingham pattern here or there. That is fun! That is a GREAT idea.
